After the victory of the October Revolution in Russia in 1917, Marxism quickly spread to our country. In July 1921, communist groups from all over the country sent representatives to Shanghai to convene the first congress of the Communist Party of China. After being discovered by imperialist spies, the meeting was transferred to a boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. The convention passed the party's charter, elected Chen Duxiuwei, and proclaimed the establishment of the Communist Party of China. Since then, a completely new type of unified working-class political party with communism as its goal and Marxism-Leninism as its guide to action has emerged in China. The birth of the Communist Party of China opened up a new era in the development of China's history and gave a new look to the Chinese revolution. Due to the difficult environment, it is impossible to check the exact date of the "First National Congress". Therefore, in 1941, the Party Central Committee decided to convene the "First National Congress". Indeed, July 1, 1921, was the party's birthday and anniversary.
